Processing of Personal Data
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The protection of personal data of the buyer who is a natural person is provided by Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data, as amended.
The buyer agrees to the processing of the following personal data: first name and surname, residential address, identification number, tax identification number, email address, and telephone number (hereinafter collectively referred to as “personal data”).
The buyer agrees to the processing of personal data by the seller for the purpose of fulfilling rights and obligations arising from the purchase contract and for maintaining a user account. Unless the buyer chooses otherwise, they also agree to the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending information and commercial communications. Consent to the processing of personal data under this article is not a condition that would prevent the conclusion of a purchase contract.
The buyer acknowledges that they are obliged to provide their personal data correctly and truthfully (during registration, in their user account, or when placing an order through the website interface) and to inform the seller without undue delay of any changes to their personal data.
The seller may authorize a third party as a processor to process the buyer’s personal data. Except for entities involved in the delivery of goods, personal data will not be transferred to third parties without the buyer’s prior consent.
Personal data will be processed for an indefinite period. Personal data will be processed electronically in an automated manner or in printed form in a non-automated manner.
The buyer confirms that the personal data provided are accurate and that they have been informed that providing personal data is voluntary.
If the buyer believes that the seller or the processor processes their personal data in a manner contrary to the protection of private and personal life or in violation of the law, particularly if the personal data are inaccurate with regard to the purpose of processing, they may:
request an explanation from the seller or processor,
request that the seller or processor remedy the situation.
If the buyer requests information regarding the processing of their personal data, the seller is obliged to provide such information. The seller is entitled to request reasonable compensation not exceeding the necessary costs for providing the information.
